GutterLock Diamond Warranty of Performance
It is the responsibility of the installing dealer to assure that the GutterLock Diamond system is performing as designed and is properly installed. GutterLock Enterprises, LLC, warrants to the purchaser that GutterLock Diamond will remain free flowing and keep gutters from becoming clogged and overflowing as a result of the interior of the gutter and downspouts filling with debris such as leaves, needles, twigs, or seeds, subject to the terms and conditions, exclusions and limitations, requirements and legal rights stated in this warranty. Free flowing is defined as the flowing and circulating of rainwater which means gutters will not clog. GutterLock Diamond is designed to transfer all but a minimal amount of run-off water into the gutter when properly installed and maintained.
Conditions and Exclusions of Warranty
All warranties will be null and void if the GutterLock Diamond system is not properly installed by an authorized GutterLock dealer. For these warranties to apply, it is required that your gutters first be thoroughly cleaned, gutters properly aligned and pitched, and all screens removed before installation of the GutterLock Diamond system. Gutters must be properly sloped, downspouts and drains must be cleared of any debris or obstructions. This warranty is granted to the initial retail purchaser and transferable with proof of transfer only, and covers only the manufacturing defects as specified in this warranty agreement. Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, and does not cover other damage or material failure including, but not limited to normal fading, damage caused by conditions beyond the control of the manufacturer, such as improper installation, settling of the building, failure of the structure (including foundations and walls), use of incompatible equipment, chemical pollutants, salt, fire, flood, ice dams, lightning, windblown objects, earthquakes, hurricanes, atmospheric conditions or other catastrophic weather as defined by the U.S. Weather Bureau, other acts of God, intentional acts, unreasonable use or failure to provide reasonable maintenance. GutterLock Enterprises does not warrant and will not be responsible for any costs, defects, or damage with respect to the removal or re-installation of GutterLock products or components. In certain geographical locations or where the quality of the atmosphere and regions where hardwood tree tassels and/or pine resin are prevalent in excessive amounts, the top surface of the GutterLock gutter protection system must be periodically cleaned to prevent build-up of debris. In such conditions, GutterLock should be sprayed off with a garden hose or pressure hose from the ground level to maintain peak performance. Do not paint any GutterLock product as this will void the warranty. The formation of icicles is not a warranted defect. Icicles are an indication that GutterLock Elite is protecting the investment you have made in your guttering system and are not indicative of performance failure. GutterLock Enterprises does not warrant and will not be responsible for any costs, defects, or damages with respect to removal, repair, installation, or re-installation of any GutterLock product.

IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
During manufacturing and installation, natural oils may adhere to the GutterLock Diamond panels and cause minor runoff on newly-installed systems. This is normal and will discontinue after 30-60 days. Normal weathering will enhance the performance of the GutterLock Diamond system. Over time, dirt may build up around the horizontal edge of the system. Annual cleaning using a garden hose with a sweep nozzle or pressure hose nozzle will help maintain proper performance. In regions where excessive tree sap, hardwood tree tassels, and/or pine resin are prevalent, this front edge may require additional cleaning. Alignment and spacing is critical for performance. Only allow a certified dealer to adjust or tamper with the system, and do not allow ladders to come in contact with the gutters or the GutterLock Diamond system attached to the gutters. The performance of GutterLock Diamond is reduced with the use of paints and waterproofing chemicals. Do not paint the GutterLock Diamond panels or components.
GutterLock Diamond is designed to be a closed system. Water flows into the gutter at the pre-set gap along the gutter front, but birds and animals are prevented from entering and obstructing the flow of water. If gaps, spacing, misalignment, or missing endcaps allow birds or animals to enter the system, contact your GutterLock Diamond installer for service.
If your GutterLock Diamond is damaged by actions beyond your control (such as hail and other acts of nature), corrections should be made immediately to maintain peak performance. If accidental damage or misalignment does occur, please call your GutterLock Diamond installer for service.
GutterLock Diamond will not eliminate ice formation or icicles at your eaves. Ice formation is mostly caused by factors not related to your gutter system. In fact, you may see more ice (icicles) on the outside of the GutterLock Diamond system because an open gutter tends to collect ice inside the gutter; however, GutterLock Diamond is engineered to discourage anything from entering the gutter except water. Therefore, it is normal to see some icicles on the outside of the GutterLock Diamond system.
